A usability certificate/proof of usability is required of the construction material is used as a construction product within the meaning of the state building regulations (MBPO § 17, paragraph 3).

This proof has to be furnished by means of:

  • a general construction supervisory approval or by
  • a general appraisal certificate (abP) or by means of
  • a consent in individual cases
